In order to further strengthen the cooperation between colleges and enterprises, improve the quality of talent training and broaden the employment channels for graduates, School of Accounting of Dongbei University of Finance and Economics and Shanghai Branch of China Enterprise Appraisal Co., Ltd. held a symposium on “Visiting Enterprises and Expanding Jobs to Promote Employment” on June 1, 2023. Ltd. The participants were Yu Sun, Executive General Manager of Shanghai Branch of China Enterprise Appraisal Co., Ltd., Changyi Song, Deputy General Manager, Jianhua Tao, Personnel Director, Hang Liu, Dean of the School of Accounting, Yanli Chen, Secretary of General Party Branch, Kejing Chen, Vice Dean of School of Accounting, Fajing Cui, Director of Accounting Department, Shuqin Song, Director of Financial Management Department, and Xiaochen Lu, full-time organizer.
Hang Liu introduced the development of the School of Accounting of Dongbei University of Finance and Economics. He said that the School has closely focused on the development goal of building “a high-level research university with international fame and outstanding financial characteristics” and devoted to the cultivation of “high-quality, internationalized and application-oriented” accounting and finance professionals. It has delivered a large number of senior accounting professionals to government agencies at all levels, various universities, large group companies or listed companies, large accounting firms and multinational companies in China, and strives to enhance the ability of graduates to serve the society. We hope to reach a consensus on cooperation through this visit to enterprises to expand jobs, build a high-quality employment platform for graduates, and provide a strong guarantee of talents for social and economic development.
Yanli Chen expressed gratitude to Shanghai Branch of China Enterprise Appraisal Co., Ltd. for its trust in the School of Accounting and providing a good platform for students to learn and grow, and highlighted the employment situation of the graduates of the School. We hope that the company would provide more valuable opinions and suggestions on the talent cultivation mode, off-campus practice experts and practice base construction and other aspects of the School, and that the School would help students develop employment channels and jobs and deliver excellent talents to enterprises on the basis of a full understanding of the employment needs of enterprises.
Kejing Chen made a presentation from the development history, talent cultivation, scientific research, faculty team of the School and so on. Yu Sun made an introduction to the company from its overview, organizational structure, leadership members and professional advantages. Changyi Song and Jianhua Tao respectively introduced the company’s talent cultivation ideas and selection and employment mode.
The atmosphere at the symposium was warm, and the two sides had in-depth communication on many aspects, including deepening cooperation between the School and enterprises, strengthening talent cultivation, expanding employment channels, strengthening employment guidance, expanding employment positions, and conducting internship and practical training.
In the next step, the School will continue to play the exemplary and leading role of department heads in leading visits to enterprises, expanding job opportunities, and promoting employment, so as to achieve a “seamless connection” between college talent cultivation and enterprise talent demand. We will continue to strengthen the in-depth cooperation between the School and the enterprises, open up more internship, employment and entrepreneurship positions and opportunities, and form a full staff, full process and full depth participation in student internship and employment, providing a strong guarantee for the high quality and full employment of college graduates.
